Glenda Joyce Klein, 86, of Georgetown, TX, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, at First Baptist Church in Georgetown, TX, with Pastor Bryan Wagganer of First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Ramsey Funeral Home.

Joyce Klein was born in Hannibal, Missouri, to Grace and Everett Glahn on September 7, 1939. She graduated from the University of Missouri and worked as an English teacher in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Kenneth Victor Klein on February 22, 1964, in Hannibal. They lived in Kentucky briefly before moving to Texas in 1967.

Joyce Klein was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Victor Klein; her parents, Everett F. Glahn and Grace M. Glahn; her granddaughter, Danielle Andrea Klein; and her aunts and uncles, Ruby Van Osdol, Goldie Baker, Ellis Glahn, Lewis Glahn, Bessie Arndt, Doris Lilly, and Mary King.

Joyce Klein is survived by two sons: Kenny Klein and his wife, Kathryn, of Georgetown, Texas, and Steve Klein and his wife, Sandra, of Salado, Texas; her brother, Gary Glahn and his wife, Neta, of Marceline, Missouri; grandchildren Miranda Klein, Tucker Klein, and Gunnar Klein; one niece, Jennifer Glahn Elam; one nephew, Darren Glahn; one great-nephew, Jordan Elam; and one great-niece, Jenna Elam.

The family of Joyce Klein wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at St. David's North Austin Medical Center and Altus Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Habitat for Humanity, First Baptist Georgetown, or a charity of your choice.
