Glenda Lou Ladner, age 63, passed away on February 12, 2025 at home in Saucier, Mississippi.
She graduated from Harrison Central High School in the Class of 1979, and worked for Harrison Central High School in the cafeteria, retiring in 2023. She was a beloved member of Crane Creek Baptist Church. She was a bunco queen, enjoyed family vacations, fishing, bingo, hosting, cooking, and spending time with family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Albert Weaver and Mamie Lou Breelove Weaver; son, Clint Leroy Ladner; brother, James Weaver; sister, Joann Weaver; father in law and mother in law, George Leroy Ladner and Helen Shaw Ladner; brother in law, Jeffrey Lee Ladner; and cousin, Marty Ladner.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Roger Wayne Ladner; sons, Chad Wayne Ladner (Melissa) and Cody Joseph Ladner (Kristen); grandchildren, Caleb (Morgan), Hailey, Riley, Jaden, Braezdynn, Emmarie, River, Jaxsen, Waylen, Landen; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Brenley, Suttyn, Brenner; and siblings, Rodney Weaver, Grayland Ladner (Cynthia), Trudy Showles (Marvin), Janet Ladner (Carl) and Donna Conn (Donald).
She was the best wife, mom and friend anyone could ask for, and an amazing role model.
The family wishes to thank all the friends and family for the generous donations and endless love shown, especially the nurses of St. Joseph Hospice who helped comfort the family through trying times.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., with funeral services at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Crane Creek Baptist Church 30040 Crane Creek Rd, Perkinston, MS 39573. Interment will follow at Persimmon Hill Cemetery, 22080 Riceville Rd, Saucier, MS 39574.
