GLENDA DAULENE LONNEBERG
Glenda Daulene Wrinkle Lonneberg passed into Heaven on June 4, 2025, in Roswell, New Mexico. Glenda, the second of five children, was born on June 16, 1937, in Bronte, Coke County, Texas to Sherman Morgan Wrinkle and Opal Maude Rhodes Wrinkle.
Glenda graduated from Hagerman High School in 1955. Glenda and Stanley Lee Lonneberg were married on June 30, 1955, in Roswell, New Mexico. Glenda and Stanley had five children: David Lonneberg of New York; Steven Lonneberg of Arizona; La Nell Lonneberg, deceased; Sandra Summers of Arizona; and Jerry Lonneberg, of Texas. Glenda and Stanley divorced in 1980. Glenda was an excellent caregiver for many individuals, including her aunt and uncle in Hagerman. Glenda collected cookbooks and was an exceptional cook. Glenda was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Roswell, NM.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents-Sherman and Opal Wrinkle; Daughter-La Nell Lonneberg; Sisters-in-law-Marylynn Wrinkle, and Mary Wrinkle. Glenda is survived by her Sons-David, Steven and Jerry Lonneberg; Daughter-Sandra Summers; Grandson-Taylor Lonneberg; Brothers-Donald Wrinkle of Texas, Wilbert Wrinkle of Arizona; Sisters-Barbara Wrinkle and Phyllis (husband-Neal) Smith of Arizona, and many cousins.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Roswell First Church of the Nazarene, 501 N Sycamore, Roswell, NM 88201.
