Glenda Sue Waldrip passed from this earthly life to her heavenly home on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Glenda was born in Hanna, Oklahoma to Everett & Verneil Berry July 27, 1943. She graduated Hanna High School and Hill's Business College. She met the love of her life, Bob, in Oklahoma City and they married on Valentine's Day in 1964.
She became a mother of three and homemaker, until an opportunity to teach at Robinson St. Christian School; where she enjoyed instilling God's Word into her students.
After teaching, she went on to work at Norman Regional Hospital, retiring as Clerical Coordinator in 2005. She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement, being able to spend time with of their 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Everett & Verneil and her younger brother, Johnny Berry. She is survived by her husband Bob, three children, Mark Waldrip, Lisa Musick and Todd Waldrip all from Oklahoma City, as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, James Berry of Hanna, OK, Gary Berry of Pryor, OK and sister Diane Ward of Whitney, TX.
Glenda had an amazing talent of making friends and making people laugh. Her numerous friends from SW Baptist Church in OKC, are a testament to this fact. During her last months, she had endless visitors to ease her mind by lifting her up with prayers and words of love and encouragement.
Glenda will be missed by many loved ones and friends, but is at peace knowing they will one day meet again.

Though my time knowing Glenda was short, it did not take long for her to make a huge impact on me. Glenda was a bright light and such a great example of what it looks like to be a woman of God. I will strive to be like you and continue to share the love of Jesus. Until we meet again sweet lady.

Glenda was not only a mentor to me when I moved to Norman and began working at Normal Regional Hospital in the Pathology department, but she became a dear friend to me over the years. Though my heart aches that I can't pick up the phone and share a long talk with you again, my heart soars because I know I'll see you in our heavenly home one day soon. I love you, sweet friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bob and her family. She was a good friend and so caring about others.
