Glenda Rae Wolf

Glenda Rae (Wilkerson) Wolf, 81, of Tonganoxie, Kansas died Thursday, September 19, 2024 at her home.
She was born November 26, 1942 in Natchitoches, Louisiana the daughter of J.C. and Pearl (Troquille) Wilkerson. She attended Cabot High School in Cabot, Arkansas.
On May 3, 1971, Glenda was united in marriage to Loren Dale Wolf in Topeka, Kansas. Glenda and Dale shared 53 years of loving marriage with one another.
Glenda worked as the librarian of Scranton Elementary School until her retirement in 1997.
Glenda loved travelling and the scenery on car rides, especially going up and down the Arkansas River in their cabin cruiser. She liked camping and making it a home. She enjoyed planting flowers and gardening, and would occasionally steal starts for plants. She loved shoes and cooking, but most of all, Glenda loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Wilkerson and Pearl T. Johnson; her step-dad, Fredrick J. Johnson; her son, Sean Eric Wolf; and her 3 sisters, twin Linda F. Streeter, Melba Jean Dillon, and Charlotte Wilkerson.
She is survived by her husband, Loren Dale Wolf of the home; two daughters, Tami Loraine Kendall of Topeka, KS and Tina Bell Gardner of Dallas, TX; two step-brothers, Joe Vercher of Oklahoma City, OK and Jimmy Fletcher of Texarkana, TX; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, Overbrook, KS. To celebrate Glenda's life, a visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2024 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 730 Western Heights Dr, Overbrook, KS 66524.
