Glendene May Brunnet (Deaner), age 88, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away on August 30, 2025. Born on August 13, 1937, in Lamont, OK, Glendene was known for her adventurous spirit, creative flair, and dedication to those she loved.
Glendene spent her working years as a laborer in the manufacturing industry, retiring from Eaton, Fremont, Ohio in 1989. She enjoyed the Fremont Elks and Moose and was known for her love of quilting, crocheting, and motorcycle riding. She was a loving mother and an awesome grandmother whose dedication to her family was unmatched. Glendene's creative spirit was evident in her hobbies and how she approached life. She was a sweet person whose presence brought joy and warmth to any room she entered. Glendene was a woman of faith, and the teachings from Lumber Bridge Presbyterian Church guided her throughout her life. The scripture from Proverbs 31:28-29, "Her children arise and call her blessed...Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all," encapsulates Glendene's life beautifully.
She is survived by her children Lee (Liny) Earhart of Port Clinton, Ohio; Alan (Connie) Brunnet of Lumber Bridge, NC; Clayton (Denise) Brunnet of Luckey, Ohio; and Darla (Mike) Hrynciw of Port Clinton, Ohio. She is also survived by her siblings Paula Lewis of Jonesborough, TN and John (Marilyn) Ballard of Medford, OK; sixteen Grandchildren; eighteen Great Grandchildren and several Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Margaret Ballard-Keegan, siblings Faye Ballard, James Ballard, Beverly Long, and brother-in-law Johnny Lewis.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:30 am at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 1793 West McPherson Highway, Clyde, Ohio, 43410.
