Noe Funeral Service, Inc. - BeaufortGlendora "Glen" Lee Steward Lane, 79, of Havelock, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Carteret Health Care of Morehead City.
Glendora graduated from Queens Street High School in Beaufort in 1965. She went on to build a strong and steady career rooted in service and commitment. She worked at Atlantic Veneer in Beaufort before taking on the role of Head Housekeeper at A Place at the Beach, where she served with diligence until her retirement.
A devoted member of St. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Havelock, Glendora found strength and purpose through her faith. Her presence within the church community was a source of connection and continuity for those who worshipped alongside her.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 1, 2025, at St. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Havelock. Entombment will follow at the Everette-Steward Family Cemetery in Havelock. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Woodfolk of Havelock; son, Victor Steward of Havelock; son, Derick Lane of Havelock; grandchildren, Kendra Anthony and husband, Michael of Odenton, MD; Moriah Woodfolk of Havelock; Amaris Woodfolk of Charlotte; Victor Steward Jr. of Havelock; Nevaeh Steward of Havelock; Daija Guillory of Charlotte; Derick Lane II of Havelock; Derell Lane of Havelock; Anthony Mincey of Vineland, NJ; great grandchildren: Ela Anthony, Kennedy Anthony, and Carter Lucas; sister, Emma Everette of Havelock; brother, David Steward and wife, Vicky, of Apex, NC; sister, Marjorie Foye of New Bern.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Etta Mae Steward; husband, Preston Lane; two brothers, Leonard Steward Jr. and William Steward; sister, Ida Windley.
