Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Glenn Edward Allen, 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Ricky Bonnett officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Mr. Allen was born on June 27, 1942 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on September 14, 2025 in Monroe, LA. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and loved his time serving his country. Mr. Allen is retired from The United States Marine Corps, The Army National Guard, Ouachita Electric, Gaylord/ Graphic Packaging. He loved hunting, fishing, mud-racing, but most of all, loved spending time with his family. Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Betty Sue Allen; parents, Homer and Lucy Allen; sisters, Lennie England, Josephine Calhoun, and Martha Johnson; and brother, Homer Allen.
Survivors include his children; Catherine “Cathy” Allen Treno and husband, Michael and Robert Glenn Allen and wife, Jamie; sisters, Betty Lynn Allen and Linda Murphy; four grandchildren, Jonathan “Jon Michael” Treno, Ryan Cole Allen, Jacob Grant, and Dell Grant; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
Pallbearers will be Jon Michael Treno, Ryan Cole Allen, Jacob Grant, Dell Grant, Jay Simpson, and Shannon Murphy.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
