Glenn Kazuo Araki, 80, of Paducah passed away at 8:30 AM on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Mr. Araki was a Veteran of the Army in Vietnam, he was a Electrician for the Local IBEW in Paducah and he was a member of Salt & Light Community Church.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kay Egner Araki; two daughters, Jennifer (Victor West) Araki, Shan Araki Davis; two brothers, Clyde Araki, Myron Araki; sister, Charlene Shiroma; four grandchildren, Cody Sedberry (Danielle Scott), Riley Davis, Devin Davis; 7 great grandchildren, Maddox, Memphis, Adalynn, Kevin, Macy, Maizie, Emmett; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert H. Araki and Lillian T. (Morita) Araki; one granddaughter, Makayla Davis; son-in-law, Kevin Davis.
Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Salt & Light Community Church in Paducah with Tommy Moore officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to service time on Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family requestions contributions made to Trisomy 18 Foundation PO Box 320, Flushing, MI 48433 or McCracken County Humane Society, 4000 Coleman Road, Paducah, KY 42001 or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
