Glenn was born on February 1, 1962, in Columbus to George G. Baldwin, Sr. and the late Shirley Herron Baldwin. He was a beloved member of our community, who left us too soon. Glenn was known for his working heart, his steadfastness in business, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others. He touched the lives of many throughout the community with his quiet acts of service, always going out of his way to lend a hand whenever someone was in need. As the proud owner of several restaurants, including Glenn’s BBQ, and Baldwin’s Produce, Glenn had a special passion for cooking and serving others. His dedication to his work went far beyond running a business—he viewed his customers not as patrons, but as close friends and family. He poured his heart into every meal, making sure no one left his restaurant hungry, and always greeted each person with a warm smile. Glenn’s love for racing, particularly NASCAR and DIRT TRACK RACING, made his heart happy. He often could be found watching races and sharing his enthusiasm with friends and family. But his greatest joy came from being there for others—whether it was providing food on holidays or helping silently behind the scenes, Glenn was always there when anyone needed a hand. A pillar of the community, Glenn will be remembered for his service, his big heart, and the lasting impact he made on those around him. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Herron Baldwin, and his nephew, Mark Wayne Baldwin.
