The Graveside Service for Ms. Sarah Baldwin of Montezuma, Georgia will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Champ Waters Cemetery, Twin Churches Road, Montezuma, Georgia.

Sarah Baldwin was born on December 18, 1930 in Marshallville, Macon County, Georgia, to the late Susie Baldwin and the late James Baldwin. At an early age, she joined Glorious Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Marshallville, Georgia. She was a graduate of the historic Lamson-Richardson School in Marshallville, Georgia. Sarah furthered her education by being home trained as a CNA. After twenty-nine years of dedicated service at Flint River Hospital in Montezuma, Georgia she retired. After retirement, Sarah became a homemaker. Sher enjoyed cooking, reading, and her favorite pastime, watching and listening to the Atlanta Braves.

Sarah departed this life on March 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by a daughter, June Baldwin. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to those who survive her. She will be truly missed by her two daughters: Constance Baldwin of Montezuma, Georgia and Pebbles Baldwin of Ideal, Georgia; two granddaughters: Melissa Baldwin of Montezuma, Georgia and LaSonya Larry of Oglethorpe, Georgia; two great-grandsons: Troytavian Smith of Montezuma, Georgia and DeVante Neal of Atlanta, Georgia; a great-granddaughter, Traniya Smith of Macon, Georgia; a sister, Bernice Howard of Marshallville, Georgia; an aunt, Irma Baldwin of Neptune, New Jersey; devoted cousins: Emma Forbes, Cheryl Tharp, Ramell (Hollie) Baldwin, Sharmell and Kace Baldwin, Quarmell (Darrius) and Aubrey Polite, Johnnie Mae (Nathaniel) and Johnathian Tookes, Willie James (Min. Aurthur Mae) Paster, Donald Wynn, Jennifer Engram, Gaynette McKenzie, Debra Westberry, Jean King, Willie C. Adams, and Wesley Owens; bonus children: Betty Jean Bailey, Murrell (Willie James) Harris, Dan B. Clark Jr. and Manuel Clark; a host of beloved relatives and friends including devoted friends and caregivers: Sharon Stephens, Cassandra Banks, and Mary Lockhart.
