GLENN CURTIS BANUL, 59, of Waretown NJ passed away on July 24, 2025 at his home. He was born in 1966 in Perth Amboy, NJ, moving with his family to Waretown, NJ at a young age where he lived for the rest of his life. He graduated from Southern Regional High School and Ocean County Vo-Tech before starting work as an architectural draftsman in 1986.

Within a year or two, Glenn knew he didn't want to spend his life working in an office, and also knew he really wanted to work for himself. He shortly began a 37 year career as a landscaper, carpenter, home maintenance and repair specialist. His projects stretched from South Jersey to Southern Vermont, and ranged from small repairs to building additions, sundecks, and entire homes, including his own. He was well known for driving to project sites towing his construction trailer, containing at least two of every tool sold at Home Depot. He built cabinets, home décor, and children's toys in his home workshop. He was also a volunteer carpenter for many years with Christmas in April-Ocean County, providing his expertise at projects throughout the area. His motto: "I fix stuff", and many people throughout New Jersey benefited from his ability.

Glenn was known for his warm smile, kind heart, and generous spirit. One of Glenn's greatest passions was being near the water. He found peace and joy in fishing and crabbing. He often said those moments were where he felt most at home.

Glenn was predeceased by his father Thomas Banul, his mother Loretta Schultheis and his Step-Father James Schultheis. He is survived by his brothers Bob and Tom and his sisters Annette and Lisa as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 5-7 PM on August 4th at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Main Street (Route 9) in Forked River.
