Obituary of Glenn Norman Behring
Glenn Norman Behring, 71, of Fort Worth, Texas went to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 26. He died unexpectedly at his home after several years battling underlying health conditions.
He was born and raised in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Despite living his last 30 years in Texas he maintained a fondness for his Midwest roots, enjoying a good bratwurst and was a devoted fan of University of Michigan football. Over the last 30 years he has lived in the greater Fort Worth area, operating his own business and then moving into his retirement years.
Glenn was an accomplished musician on the organ and piano. He served churches in the area with the most recent being The Edge Church of Azle (formerly Good Shepherd Lutheran). Glenn found pleasure in being around and caring for his horses. His dog Jude was always at his side.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Arline Behring; and brother, Rev. Dr. Mark Behring.
He is survived by his four children and three grandchildren: son, Ryan (Stephanie) Behring and grandsons Keylon and D'Kayln; daughters, Rachel (Aaron) Stanfield and granddaughter Indigo; Laura Behring; Lindsey (Hayden) Perschbacher; sister, Jean (Rev. Richard) Schwandt; sister-in-law, Sarah Behring; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 The Edge Church of Azle, 1313 Southeast Parkway, Azle, Texas.
