Glenn James Bober

Glenn James Bober, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 25, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to Chester and Violet (Lashwetz) Bober. He was preceded in death by his parents and cherished wife, Wanda June Bober.
He proudly served in the United States Army and achieved the rank of Captain at the end of his military career. He was an ambitious person and worked in real estate during most of his working life. When he retired he enjoyed playing the accordion, writing short stories, was an avid Hot Wheels collector, loved fishing, and was a proud American.
Glenn is survived by his brother Thomas (Patsy) Bober, his 2 sons Andrew Bober and Michael (Anna) Bober, 1 grandson, Christopher Bober, and 3 great grandchildren, Ryanne June Bober, Amelia Rose Bober, Caelum Jenkins Bober, and his girlfriend Sherry Lapham.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel 13738 W Camino Del Sol, Sun City West, AZ 85375.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church at 13658 W Meeker Blvd, Sun City West, AZ 85375. Afterward, the burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Sunland Memorial Park Cemetery 15826 N Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
Glenn's legacy of sacrificial love, humor, faith, and strength will continue to inspire all who carry his memory.
