Mr. Glenn James Dixon, 60, took his final “north bound” trip heading to rest in Heaven on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. He was born in Flushing, NY on September 30, 1963, to the late Robert John Dixon and Lynor Schumacher Volborth. Glenn was a man whose heart was as big as his gentle spirit. He touched countless lives with his unwavering kindness and willingness to help others, always ready with a helping hand and a laid-back demeanor. His presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew him. A dedicated worker, he approached life with determination and humility. As the first grandchild, he held a special place in the hearts of his family, earning him the title of #1. His laughter was infectious, and his smile illuminated every room he entered. Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in our hearts. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” 2Tim 4:7.  Surviving is a son, Daniel Shakespeare; granddaughter, Sabrina Shakespeare; sister, Billie Liparito (John); brother, Bob Simon (Rebecca); three nephews; three nieces; many great-nieces and nephews, also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins. According to Glenn’s wishes there will be a private service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Junction to help support children in need. https://victoryjunction.org/donate-online/
