John “Jack” Dixon passed away peacefully at home with family on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
Jack was born on November 26, 1954 in Chicago IL. His family moved to Green Bay WI in 1967. Jack was a 1972 graduate of Preble High School and obtained his Associated Degree in Computer Technology from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Jack worked at Paper Converting until his retirement. Jack’s life enjoyment was family, friends, dogs, music (Frank Zappa), fishing and cars, especially his 1981 Datsun 280ZX.
Jack is survived by his daughter: Riley (Michael) McCorison; grandson, Tennison Dixon; brother Kevin (Diane) Dixon; sister-in-law, Michele (Robert) Cusatis; and nephews, David Petroff, Matthew Dixon and Steven Dixon; grand nephews, Harrison Petroff and Lincoln Petroff plus many cousins. Jack was preceded in death by his parents: John and Shirley Dixon; brothers; Robert Petroff and Thomas Petroff.
Jack will be remembered for his ability to find humor in everyday life. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at a later date.
