Glenn L. Gadzinski passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024, at age 70, at Frontida Assisted Living. Glenn was born to the late Mable (Karbon) and Leonard Gadzinski, in Manitowoc on June 29, 1954. He attended school in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1972. He married Kay Andersen on November 1, 1975, at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Glenn retired from Manitowoc Ice after 32 years of service. He loved camping, hunting, and watching the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. He also enjoyed having a beer or two.
Glenn is survived by his wife Kay; children: Christopher (Eryanna) Gadzinski of Rochester, MN, and Aaron (Emily) Gadzinski of Manitowoc; grandchildren Anakah, Isabella, Colten and Nayeli; brothers-in-law Michael Free and Tom (Sue) Andersen; sister-in-law Mea Andersen; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Beverly Free and Donna Hardrath; parents-in-law LeRoy and Rose Marie Andersen; and brother-in-law Jon Andersen.
Relatives and friends are welcomed to greet the family at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be officiated by Rev. Matt Sauer at 5:00 p.m. A dinner will follow at Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, located on the south property of the funeral home.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Frontida; Aurora Medical Center – Two Rivers, 3rd Floor; and Aurora At Home Hospice for their caring and compassionate care of Glenn.
