Kay Lynn Bauer, age 66, a Shoto resident, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

She was born August 19, 1959 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Lloyd and Dolores (Peterik) Kornely. Kay Lynn attended Mishicot High School, graduating with the class of 1978. She married the love of her life Randall Bauer on May 25, 1996. Kay Lynn was employed as a cook at various local restaurants and establishments throughout her career. From 1993 until 2003 she owned and operated Kornely's Drinkatorium/York Street Pub with her family. Most recently she was employed as a cook at Tavern 10 in Branch. Kay Lynn was a member of the Manitowoc Fraternal Order of Eagles #706 and managed the Eagles Club for two years. She also enjoyed shooting pool, dartball, traveling, and gardening. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Kay Lynn is survived by her husband: Randy Bauer; their children: Erin Kornely, Travis Kornely, Shane Kornely, Daphne (Kevin) Seal, Ryan (Amy) Bauer, Dustin (Tara) Bauer, and Tyson Bauer (significant other Susie); grandchildren: Alora, Clayton, Emma, Theo, Caleb, Leon, Beth, Abby, Jason, Hope, Tyee, Jazmyne, Miranda, Logan, Luna, Kara, and Jack; great-grandchildren: Destiny and Oakley; siblings: Pat (Vicky) Kornely, Mike (Yvonne) Kornely, Chris Reynolds, Debra (Karl) Walesh, and Bob (Dawn) Kornely; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Diane (Don) Hailer, Jan (Mike) Sinor, Bonnie (Steve) Sorge, Rick (Bonnie) Bauer, and Tina (Brian) Muck. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Lloyd and Dolores Kornely; two sisters: Donna Pasterski and Wendy Sue Kornely; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Richard and Germaine Bauer; Niece: Nicole Kornely; and two brothers-in-law: Russ Reynolds and Jim Bauer; as well as other relatives and friends.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a celebration of Kay Lynn's life will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Tavern 10, 3921 Branch River Road, Whitelaw, WI.
