Glenn began his working career detailing cars at McKenzie's Auto Sales in North Adams. For many years, he was employed at Bose Corporation in Hillsdale and later retired from Seagate Plastics in Jackson. Glenn enjoyed operating CB Radios under the call sign Rocky Squral. He enjoyed riding and working on his motorcycles, fishing, and watching John Wayne western movies.
Survivors include four sons, David (Autumn), Brian, Charles and Daniel (Kristin) Handy, all of North Adams; eight grandchildren, Jessica (Austin) Gordon, Dakota Hawkins, Kyle Handy, Kaila Handy, Tanner Handy, Damian Moor, Marissa Moor, and Cheyenne Lofton; eight great-grandchildren, Dean, David, Isabella, Eli, Ryleigh, Dyson, Phoenix, and Charlotte; and four sisters, Lucille, Francis, Marsha, and Becky; and three brothers, Mike, Jim, and George.
In addition to his wife of 55 years, Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna; and brother, Robert.
A graveside service for Glenn and Isabelle Handy will be held at Northlawn Cemetery in North Adams at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
