DEER CREEK – Glenn W. Joos, 84, of Deer Creek, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.

Glenn was born on August 15, 1941, in Deer Creek, to William and Clementine (Knapp) Joos. He married Beverly Heinold on December 19, 1965, in Morton.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Bev of Deer Creek; seven children, Renee (Brandt) Joos-Mylott of Milwuakee, Wisconsin, Robyn (Rod) Wiegand of Eureka, Ronda (Tim) Whisler of Morton, Ronald (Carrie) Joos of Deer Creek, Randy (Maggie) Joos of Fox Point, Wisconsin, Ryan (Brooke) Joos, of Morton and Roschelle (Ryan) McCoy of Washington; 19 grandchildren, Costello, Thatcher, Calais, Harper, Halle (Josh), Tessa (Austin), Dakota, Daxton, Cameron, Cade, Ava, Waylon, Malorie, Charlotte, Bella, Hayden, Austin, Carter and Tristan; great grandson, Staten; two sisters, Arletta Martin of Eureka and Eileen Musselman of Deer Creek; and one brother, Loren (Elise) Joos of Deer Creek.

Glenn was a lifetime farmer. He and his father, Bill, and brother, Loren, owned and operated Joos Farms, Inc. He also owned and operated Joos Brothers Brick Laying with his brother in addition to working for various area contractors.

Glenn served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Deer Creek American Legion Post #1276.

He volunteered in many capacities including serving with the Deer Creek Volunteer Fire Department as Chief and trustee of the Deer Creek Town Board. He was very active with the Deer Creek PTA Pancake and Sausage Supper as well as serving as a chef for the St. Jude’s Memphis to Peoria Run.

Glenn was a founding member of the Dee-Mack Snow Chiefs, traveling over 40 years with his family to Minocqua / St. Germain, Wisconsin for annual snowmobile trips.

He was a member of the Goodfield Apostolic Christian Church, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, with church ministers officiating. Visitation will be held from 4–7p.m. on Thursday, January 22, at the Goodfield Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall. Further visitation will take place from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church on Friday, prior to the service. Burial will be at the Goodfield-Congerville Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the U.S. Army.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Runners Association or the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.
