Glenn Leveque Obituary

Visit the Heritage-Dilday Memorial Services website to view the full obituary.
Glenn Leveque, a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, faithful Catholic, and lifelong servant of others, was born on November 16, 1937, in Los Angeles, California, to Leo and Agnes Leveque. He was the fourth of six children and carried throughout his life the values of faith, humility, and compassion that were instilled in him from an early age.

Glenn spent his high school years with the Christian Brothers, an experience that helped shape his lifelong devotion to his Catholic faith. Over the years, he worked in the grocery industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and warm personality. He also proudly served six years in the National Guard and was called to active duty during the Los Angeles riots.

Glenn was a faithful parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where he lived out his deep love for Christ through prayer, service, and community involvement. He served as a Eucharistic Minister, as a Knight of Columbus, and was active in Cursillo and OCIA. Glenn was especially dedicated to prison and jail ministry, generously giving his time to bring hope, dignity, and the message of God's mercy to those who were incarcerated.

Glenn made many dear friends throughout his life. A consummate host who loved a good party, he welcomed everyone to his table and had a special gift for making others feel at home and cared for. He also enjoyed traveling the world with Grace, family, and friends.

Glenn went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2026, surrounded by the family and friends he loved so much.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace, his children: Monica (Greta); Tina (Todd); Michael (Amy); and Katy (Brian); his sister, Annette Braun, and "daughter" Dr. Yemmy Taylor. He was a proud grandfather to Christina (Scott), Mackenzie (Tom), Cole (Catherine), Frater Philip Noah O. Praem, Anna (Justus), Samuel, Gavin, and Kayla; and a cherished Papa to Alex, Adam, and Sofia.

Glenn will be remembered for his steadfast faith, quiet strength, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family and his Church. His legacy of love and service lives on in all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Guadalupe Ranch Priest Retreat in Glenn's memory. Donations may be made at guadaluperetreat.org.
