Glenn Larry Maynard

Glenn passed away at home peacefully surrounded by family, from natural causes. Glenn was known for his kindness and generosity. He lived a very full life with lots of love and dancing with many wonderful friends. Glenn was born in NC and came to California 5 yrs. later. Glenn married Beverly Henderson, and they were married 44 yrs. Together they raised four children: Betty (Gene), Carol (David), Kathleen, and Roy (Stephanie). Glenn worked at Kern Valley Packing for 33 yrs and Rain for Rent as a second job for 10 yrs. He loved working with his hands. His real passion was dancing. He loved food, going out to eat, travel and spending time with his friends listening to music. Glenn is survived by his four children, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by wife Beverly Maynard; his grandson, Jared Lee Brown; his brother, Joe Maynard (Margaret); sisters, Janet Row (Jerry), Audrey Hobbs (Connie); parents, Shields and Birdie Maynard "Elliot". He also leaves behind Norman Maynard, Ruth Renfro and several nieces and nephews.
