Glenn Edward Rice, 70 of Pathfork, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at his home. He was born in Harlan on November 2, 1955, the son of the late Elmer and Louise Craig Rice. Glenn was a believer in the Holiness Faith and a member of the Pathfork Holiness Church. He loved horses and hunting, and he had been a coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Eva Elaine Buell, and brother, Robert Rice.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 22 years, Linda Howard Rice; daughter, Mary Daniels Moore; son, Robert Daniels; grandchildren, Destiny Bryant, Dustin Goss, Brandi Freeman, Michala Daniels, and Katlin Daniels; great-grandchildren, Carter Freeman, Carson Freeman, Adalynn Freeman, Scarlett Bryant, Madaline Freeman, Caroline Freeman, Lauren Bryant, and soon to be born, Sawyer Goss; brothers, Roger Dale Rice, David Rice, and Dwayne Rice; sisters, Connie Garrison, Dinah Rice, Marilyn Rice, Sue Lynn and Wendy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Pathfork Holiness Church with Rev. Robert Lee, Rev. Michael Wilson, and Rev. Mark Taylor presiding. Music will be provided by the Pathfork Holiness Church Singers. Burial will follow at the Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at the Pathfork Holiness Church. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville is honored to serve the Rice Family.
