Glenn Edward Sammons, a loving father and devoted family man, passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on December 27, 1966, Glenn was known for his incredible sense of humor and generous spirit, traits that endeared him to many. He spent his life dedicated to creating joyful memories with those he loved.
Glenn’s family was everything to him, and he took immense pride in attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He is survived by his beloved daughters, April (Tyrik) Zeigler and Morgan (James) Burton; his sons, Craig and Travis (Megan) Conway; and his cherished grandchildren, Julius, Jocelyn, Omari, Zara, Graysin, Hayden, Mellie, and Charlie. He is also survived by his siblings, Vern, Pete, William, Lee (Christine), and Tony (April); mother, Debbie Sammons; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends, including his girlfriend, Bobbi Zimmerman.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leland and Gloria Sammons.
Glenn found joy in his hobbies and interests, particularly as a passionate supporter of the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. He loved music, and his leisure time was often spent riding his motorcycle, fishing, and boating. His zest for life and ability to share laughter made him a treasured friend and companion.
Friends and family are invited to honor Glenn’s memory at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. Visitation will be held on December 20, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM.
As we remember Glenn Edward Sammons, let us celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the love he shared with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
