Glenn Secrist Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Miller Funeral Services - Houston on Dec. 15, 2025.
Glenn "Ray" Secrist, age 70, of Stafford, Texas, passed away on December 10, 2025, at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. He was born on January 12, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Betty and Loyd Secrist Jr.
Known to all as Ray, he was a master craftsman with an ability to fix just about anything. Whether repairing household items, engines, or motorcycles, Ray was always willing to help. His generosity, laughter, and colorful personality left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He was deeply devoted to his faith, family, friends, neighbors, and animals. Ray volunteered his time at the Houston Zoo and a local animal rescue. In his earlier years, he brought people together as a square dance caller.
Ray married Connie Sue Snyder on October 21, 1995, in Harris County, Texas. Their life together was filled with love, community, and their little fur children.
Ray is survived by his wife, Connie Snyder-Secrist; siblings, Loyd Secrist III, Carol "C.J." Foster, Linda Parkinson, and James "Jimmy" Secrist; and many extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Miller Funeral Services & Cremation Society of Texas, 7723 Beechnut Street, Houston, Texas 77074.
