Glenn was married to Kathy for 49 years, the love of his life which was obvious by the way he looked at her! He was the loving father of Glenn Michael Jr. (deceased), Sharon Elizabeth (deceased) and Naomi Ruth. Glenn was a devoted grandfather of Destiny, Lindsay, Kayley, Bethany, Mykensie, Callie, Aubrie, and Averie and great grandchildren Emmett, Elias, and London Grace. Brother of Bill Sellars (Wendy). He was also preceded in death by his dad Willie, his mother Elsie, and his brother Patrick C. Sellars (Billie).
Glenn loved Jesus with all of his heart. He was active and faithfully served at LifeHouse Church for over 50 years. His passion was with Prison Ministry.
When Glenn was younger, he served our country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed with Dupont Chemical for 35 years and was the Department Head of Process Technology at River Parishes Community College for 8 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service at LifeHouse Church, 3556 W. Airline Hwy., Reserve, LA on Monday, December 2, 2024. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery, LaPlace, LA.

I used to babysit Naomi for Bro Glenn and Mrs Kathy. He was such a godly, loving man. Such a sweetheart! He and Mrs Kathy were always good to me and were wonderful parents. The world was blessed with Bro Glenn and now Jesus has him with him and the angels! Much love! Jeanette Wellman-Parsons

Glenn was introduced to me on the stoop of First Baptist Mission on Central Avenue in 1973. He was wearing his U.S. Army dress uniform because he had only recently returned from serving in Vietnam. I was moved by his knowledge of the Holy Bible. After 50 years of Christian brotherhood, friendship, mentoring, and my next-door neighbor for five years, life will not be the same without Glenn.
