Born November 18, 1952 in Shamokin, PA, he was a son of the late Marlin and Lillian S. Boyer Trego.
Glenn graduated in 1970 from Shikellamy High School in Sunbury, PA, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tri State University in Angola, Indiana. For 35 years, Glenn worked as a civil engineer at Letterkenny Army Depot. He enjoyed collecting coins, antique weapons, visiting the beach, and cooking. In his earlier years, Glenn enjoyed trapping animals along the Susquehanna River and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Glenn was a member of the Masonic Lodge #404, the NRA, the Chambersburg Rod and Gun Club, and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chambersburg.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judith Trego, two daughters, Melissa Trego of New York City, NY, Catherine Trego of Chambersburg, PA, and two granddaughters, Jaelyn Fleming and Addison Benshoff, both of Chambersburg. Glenn is survived by his sister, Brenda (William) Jaworski of Sunbury, PA, and a mother-in-law, Viola Rockwell.
A graveside service will be 11:00 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg, PA with Pastor Ruth Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Menno-Haven Brookview Health Care Center.
