Glenn W. Verost

Glenn W. Verost, 67, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at his residence. He was born October 19, 1956, son of Nancy Piepho Verost and the late Frank L. Verost.
In addition to his mother of Little River, SC, he is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Cynthia L. Verost of Murrells Inlet, SC; two sons, Matthew Verost (and Missy Bills) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Christopher Verost and wife, Courtney of Saddle Brook, NJ; two brothers, Wayne Verost and wife, Marianne of Washington Township, NJ and Douglas Verost and wife, Amira of Elmwood Park, NJ; sister, Kathleen Verost of Calabash, NC; one granddaughter, Ally Bills of Charleston, SC; and beloved "granddoggers", Winnie and Rogue.
Glenn proudly served in law enforcement as Detective Sergeant of the Saddle Brook Police Department for twenty-five years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and cruising on the motorcycle with his wife, Cindy. He was a member and trustee of the Blue Knights SC Chapter V Motorcycle Club as well as the Venturers Motorcycle Club.
A celebration of Glenn's life will be held 11:00am Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time from 10:00-11:00am at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at the St. Michael Catholic Church Columbarium, 542 Cypress Avenue, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
