Glenn Warren Walls, Jr., age 53, of Maidsville, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic after a short, but brave fight with cancer.
Born on September 23, 1971, in Morgantown, he was a son Lilly Lawson Whitehair who survives him in Morgantown, and Glenn Warren Walls, Sr. of Cheat Lake.
Survivors include his wife 32 years Kelley Bierer Walls; his children Lindsey Walls,
Austin Walls, and Loghan Walls all of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Keryan Sowell and Eastyn Walls; three sisters, Tammy Hickman and husband Dave of Hagans, Jessica Walls of Pittsburgh, and Verdella Whitehair of Morgantown; his father-in-law Kevin Bierer of Morgantown; his brothers-in-law Kevin Bierer, Jr. of Morgantown and Jimmy Varner of Cheat Lake; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son Daniel Mayle; his uncles John and Adrian Lawson, and his mother-in-law, Janet Bierer.
Glenn was a heavy equipment operator with LP Minerals for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and recently he began camping with his wife in Parsons. He and Kelley spent many great times together with his cousin Vickie traveling and camping. He enjoyed racing of all kinds, both as a participant and a spectator with his buddies Bobby Knicely and Phil Chesney. He enjoyed spending time at the garage with BJ, Rodney, Brad, Travis, and JR.
Friends may join the family to honor Glenn's life and legacy on Thursday, April 3rd from 6:00 - 9:00 PM, and Friday, April 4th from 12 Noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Avenue, Westover. Interment will take place at Bethel Cemetery, Bethel Church Rd., Maidsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you please make a contribution directly to the funeral home to assist with Glenn's services by calling 304-292-9494.
