Glenn Allen Wasser, 94, of Lyon Station, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in The Lutheran Home at Topton. Born in Lyon Station, PA, Glenn was the son of the late Charles J. and Lillian H. (Moser) Wasser and was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School. Glenn honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Following his service, he was a self-employed cosmetologist, owning and operating Mr. Glenn's in Lyon Station for 52 years, retiring in 2013. Glenn also worked as a groundskeeper at the Rich Maiden Golf Course.
Glenn enjoyed gardening, mowing, cooking, watching his movies, and cigars. He maintained a positive outlook on life until the very end - always quick to reply "Terrrr-ific!" or "Everything's under control," when asked how he was doing.
Glenn is survived by his niece, Lori L. (Fenstermacher), wife of Robert D. Greenawalt, The Villages, FL; nephews, Kurt D. Fenstermacher, Kutztown, and Bart C., husband of Erin E. (Cooney) Fenstermacher, Lyon Station; niece-in-law, Elaine (Falcone) Fenstermacher; and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, long-time companion Violet Hafer; and sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline K. (Wasser) and Glenn D. Fenstermacher.
Services are private at the convenience of the family with burial in Lyons Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made in Glenn's memory to The Navy League of the United States, 2300 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 200, Arlington, VA 22201-5424.
