Mrs. Rita M. (Sallada) Miller, 74, of Kutztown, passed away early Friday morning, February 20, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown, PA.
Born April 12, 1951, in Reading, Rita was the daughter of the late Gertrude I. (Moyer) and Frederick E. Sallada, Sr. She and her husband of 52 years, Ronald C. Miller, were married in Topton, PA on April 12, 1973.
Rita attended Kutztown Area High School and went on to work for the Kutztown Shoe Factory for over 27 years as a sole cementer. She enjoyed Discovery TV, Facebook, and more than anything else, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving along with her husband, Ron, are her children, Jessica L. (Sallada) Miller, Reading, Ronald W. Sallada, husband of Vikki (Isamoyer) Sallada, Mahanoy City, and Norman J. Kehl, Reading, her grandchildren, Justin and his wife, Alicia, Kenneth, Jeremey and his wife, Erika, LeeAnn and her husband, Willie, Joseph and Leo, her great-grandchildren, Anna, Adalynn, Alivia, Justin Jr., Greyson, Emilia, Ainsley, and Levi , and her siblings, Gloria J. Lambert, Reading, Constance J. McIlvee, Hamburg, Peter J. Sallada, Reading, Isaiah, "Jim" J. Sallada, Allentown, and Susan L. Sallada, Allentown.
In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her son, Josph M. Miller, her sisters, Carol and Irene, and by her brothers, Kevin, Frederick Jr., and Kenneth.
Memorial Services for Rita will be held privately by the family.
