Glenna C. Aylor, 85, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Glenna worked for Carolina Telephone and Telegraph as an operator for many years before joining JCPenney as a jewelry sales associate.  She was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church of Raeford.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2 pm at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Wayne Sanderson officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 pm at the funeral home.  The burial will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 2 pm.

Glenna is survived by her husband, Charles W. Aylor; daughter, Martha M. Page and husband James; stepdaughter, Patricia Davis; and stepson, Chuckie Aylor; grandson, Jeremy A. Page and wife Kristy; great grandson, Joshua A. Page; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Clark; her mother, Biddie Jane Clark Bennett; stepfather, Edward Thomas Bennett; her first husband, Palmer David Mallory; brother, Kenneth W. Clark; stepbrother, Arnold Thomas Bennett; and sisters, Georgia Ruth Thacker and Rebecca Ellen Clark.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
