STURBRIDGE: Glenora M. (Achilles) Chenevert, 86, formerly of Shepard Road, passed away July 7th, at Quaboag Rehab after a period of illness. Glenora is remembered by her step-daughters, Anne Nozzolillo of Thompson and Sheila McCarthy of North Brookfield, as well as her step-sons, Stephen Chenevert of Nevada, Robert Chenevert of New Hampshire, Thomas Chenevert of Sturbridge, Gerald Chenevert of Nevada, David Chenevert of Jefferson, Alfred Chenevert of Virginia, and Donald Chenevert of Southbridge. She took great joy in her family, which includes 21 cherished grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind her brothers, Horace Achilles of Sutton and Harrison Achilles of Brookfield.She was predeceased by her father, Erwin Achilles, her mother, Alice (Wilson) Achilles, her brother, Ralph Achilles along with her sisters, Olive Achilles of Danbury, Gloria Faugno of Brookfield, Shirley Menendez of Shrewsbury and her step-son Roger Chenevert of Webster.
Throughout her life, Glenora dedicated herself to her work as a hospital transport and was a proud lifelong member of the Sovereign Grace Chapel. She had a wide array of hobbies that brought her joy, including building model trains, cultivating her stamp collection, and completing jigsaw puzzles.
A funeral for Glenora will be held on Saturday, July 12th, at 10 AM at the Belanger Bullard Funeral Home, located at 51 Marcy Street, Southbridge. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, in Southbridge.
A calling time will precede the service, starting at 9:30 AM.
