Gloria Breckenridge Obituary
Gloria Jean Breckenridge, age 78, passed away in Mobile, AL on July 8, 2025. She was born November 25, 1946 to her parents, Clarence and Mary Sessions. Mrs. Breckenridge was a very active member of the Church of Christ throughout her life. She was also a passionate member of the South Alabama Cage Bird Society and loved rescuing large birds. Her church, her birds and her family were her great loves, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Breckenridge was preceded in death by her son, Paul Alan Breckenridge; her husband, James H. Breckenridge, Sr.; parents, Clarence and Mary Sessions; one brother, Adrian Sessions.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Jimmy Breckenridge, Jr., (Mike Haimes and Greg Shepherd), Kimberly Markham (Phillip), Amy Cable (Keith), and Jason Breckenridge; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her loyal canine companions, Smokey and Lilly, other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held at the Regency Church of Christ on Friday, July 11, 2025, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. funeral time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
