Gloria Jean Brignac

Gloria Jean Brignac was born on January 31, 1941, in Lutcher, LA. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on February 9, 2026 at the age of 85.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Albert J. Brignac Jr.; children, Tory DeArmond (Eddie Pharr), Todd Brignac (Carla), Tim Brignac (Jenny), Tad Brignac (Lynn), Toni Beth Easterly (Jeff); 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; sister Sherryl Savoie (Butch); brother Baylis Tamplain (Iris).

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Prentis and Dorothy Tamplain; infant daughter, Tracey Brignac, grandchild, Brant DeArmond; sister, Marilyn Broome; brothers, Pat and Lynn Tamplain; son in law, Duane DeArmond.

Jean valued Jesus and family as most important to her as well as nurturing her family. She was a loving wife to Al for 66 years. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren who always put a smile on her face. Jean and her husband were members of First New Testament Church for 30 years.

A “Celebration of Life” Service will be on Monday February 23rd at First New Testament Church located on 3235 Aubin Lane Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Visitation from 10 to 12pm. Service at Noon.
