Gloria Byrd Obituary
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Bird (Norm), of Eagle Mountain, Utah; five grandchildren, Cameron (McKenzi), Jameson (Leah), Braedon (Erin), Logan (Mariah), and Kensley Bird; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Bobby R. Canada (Jean) of Brookline, N.H., Carroll C. Stewart of Wytheville, Virginia, and Darla J. Walters of Stephens City, Virginia.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, S. Allen Byrd; her parents, John Walter Canada and Idella Virginia Sizemore; her siblings, Billy M. Canada, Jimmy D. Canada, and Merle J. Jones; and her great-grandchildren, twins Cooper and Kai. Her spunky, resilient spirit was unforgettable.
She was an avid genealogist, a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and deeply loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held on April 21, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville, Virginia.
