Gloria Diaz Cepeda

Gloria C. Diaz Cepeda, 55, of Aurora, IL passed away on May 13, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on May 8, 1970 in Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Armando Diaz and Marcelina (Cepeda). Gloria was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who had deep compassion, quiet strength and unwavering faith. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-reading a book, knitting and crocheting, walking in nature and gardening. She expressed her love through meals and open arms. Gloria always had a steady nurturing spirit and she showed that in both her home life as well as her professional life. She was a caregiver to so many and formed lasting relationships with her patients. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and it guided her in every act of love and service. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, care, and unconditional love, she will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Fausto Diaz; daughters; Nidya Diaz, Ariana (Alejandra) Diaz-Rodriguez and Gloria (Rodolfo Lechuga) Diaz; grandchildren, Natalia and Noel; beloved mother, Marcelina Cepeda as well as many sisters, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Armando Diaz. Family will be receiving guests on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538.
