Born and raised in South Philadelphia and later a resident of Middletown, DE, Gloria graduated from South Philadelphia High School in 1950. She carried with her a deep love for her community, family, and traditions. Gloria found joy in cooking and entertaining, always bringing people together around the table. She was also a proud supporter of the Philadelphia Mummers, especially when cheering on her son and grandsons in the String Bands. A devoted Phillies fan, Gloria rarely missed a chance to root for her team. Gloria also loved to go to Atlantic City with her daughter Gloria and down to Fort Lauderdale.
Gloria was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony "Pepe" D'Amore, her parents, Vincent and Concetta Stranges, and her siblings Rudy (Grace), Grace (Tony), and Rose.
She is survived by her loving children, Anthony (Karen) and Gloria (Greg) "Sweetie"; her cherished grandchildren, Anthony (Dana), Thomas (Brittany), and Christopher; and her adoring great-grandchildren, Santino, Stella, Gianna, and James. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and devoted friends whom she loved as if they were family.
Gloria will be remembered for her warmth, devotion, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy of kindness and togetherness lives on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Interment will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery. It will be a private ceremony.

Gloria, so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was a wonderful, loving lady. I can still see her smile and hear her voice. Maybe because she reminded me of my own mom. I'll never forget the dinners we shared around the holidays at her house back in the day. What a cook! My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. God bless you all.
