Gloria Jane Fairbanks, 76, of Aultman, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at St. Andrew's Village, Indiana. She was born in Indiana on August 2, 1949, to the late William Blair and Dorothy Larue (Stuchell) Smith.

Gloria was well known in the community for her many years of dedicated service as a sales associate at the Bon Ton. Gloria enjoyed crocheting and bowling, she sang in the church choir, but most importantly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children, son Brad Ivan (Nancy) Fairbanks, of Florida; daughter Sherry Lynn (Tony) Briscoe, of Aultman; son Mac Aaron (Missy) Fairbanks, of Aultman; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one on the way, siblings, John (Carol) Smith, Mary Lou (Jim) Mauk, and Arvilla Koren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Bradley F. Fairbanks in 2021, a daughter, Christy Mae Fairbanks, brothers Blaine, Jake, and Homer Smith; sisters Betty Deyarmin, Thelma Smith, Arlene Cloutier, and Sandy Cornman as well as her beloved mother-in-law Janet Mae Fairbanks.

Having trusted Christ as her Savior, we are confident that she is now in Heaven with her Savior and reunited with her friends and family already there. We grieve, but not as those without hope, for we know we will be with our Mom, Gam, Sister, and friend again. Until then.

Friends will be received by the family on Friday, August 29, 2025, in the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, from 11 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Scott Weigner officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
