Gloria J. Ferrelli

Gloria J. Ferrelli, a beacon of joy and family devotion, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024, in Worcester, MA, at the age of 75. Born on December 28, 1948, in Richmond, VA to the late Richard E. and Margaret Aileen (Hicks) Haynes. She was predeceased by her husband Robert A. Ferrelli.
She is survived by a loving family that includes her children, Greg Criasia and his wife Hellena Costa Maia of Milford, and Wendy Morin and her husband Stephen of Bellingham. Her legacy continues through her cherished siblings: Margaret Wall of Milford, Richard Haynes and his wife Lauri of Milford, David Haynes and his wife Diana of Milford, James Haynes and his wife Joanne of SC, and Deanna Haynes of MD. Gloria's joy was multiplied by her grandchildren, Matthew Morin and his significant other Alex Dominguez, Brandon Morin, Emily Gomes and her husband Breno, Jillian Morin, Samantha Criasia, and Jaicy Maia Criasia, as well as her great-grandchildren, Logan Morin and Luca Morin. Her extended family of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins will also hold her memory dear. She was predeceased by her brother Gerald Haynes.
Gloria's professional life was marked by her meticulous work in medical coding, a field where she was known for her diligence and precision. Her colleagues respected her for her dedication and her ability to bring warmth and efficiency to the workplace.
Beyond her work, Gloria's passions painted a picture of a life well-lived. She loved to dance, and those who watched her glide across the floor could not help but be captivated by her grace. Her love for the beach was profound, and she spent many cherished moments at Vero Beach, FL, where the sun and waves brought her immeasurable peace and happiness.
Family was the cornerstone of Gloria's world. Her children and grandchildren were the subjects of endless pride and joy, and she seized every opportunity to share their accomplishments with anyone who would listen. The time she spent with her grandchildren was precious, filled with laughter, stories, and the creation of lasting memories.
Calling hours for Gloria will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon at Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford followed by a funeral service at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home.
