Maryann Wright

Maryann Wright, 83, passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2025. She was born on December 3, 1941, in Milford, to the late Saverio F. and Mary A. (Quirk) Fantini, and was a graduate of Uxbridge High School.

She was the beloved wife of Arthur R. Wright, and over the past sixty-four plus years, they built a family grounded in love and laughter. Maryann was the devoted mother to Arthur Wright, Jr. of Charlestown, NH, Debra Ramsey and her husband Donald of Grafton, Susan Mitchell of Hopkinton, James Wright of Douglas, Scott Wright of Lempster, NH, Patrick Wright and his wife Deana of Uxbridge, and Dawn Pajala of Whitinsville. Her kind and giving nature extended to her 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She was a sister to Barbara Kevorkian, Linda Hodgson and her husband Alan, Jean Tripaldi and her husband Lewis, Patrice Ramsey and her husband William. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Mark Wright, whose memory remained a cherished part of her heart.

Maryann's work ethic was evident through her decades of dedicated service delivering the Milford Daily News. She could stretch a dollar further than anyone, keeping her big family happy, fed and cared for. She never hesitated to set another place at the table for her children's friends, or anyone who happened to drop by. She was the cornerstone of holiday gatherings, ensuring that Thanksgiving and Christmas were celebrated with joy and great food.

Her interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. Maryann had a special place in her heart for animals, and she was known for rescuing many cats, providing them with a loving forever home. She loved roses, a reflection of her love for beauty and growth. She also cherished a night out for dinner, the thrill of motorcycle rides, and the adventure of traveling the country in an RV (which always included bringing her pets).
