Gloria A. Greene (née Schultz)

Gloria A. Greene, age 102, of Middletown Township, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Monty Greene, who preceded her in death in 2006.
Born on July 5, 1923, Gloria was a lifelong resident of Media and a long time member of Nativity BVM Catholic Church.
A graduate of Media High School and Pierce Junior Business College, Gloria began her professional life as Executive Secretary to the President of the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, from 1941 to 1951. She wore many hats at the family business, The Log Cabin in, in Media as bookkeeper, waitress, and was hostess for the very popular luncheon smorgasbord throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
In her later years, Gloria and her husband Monty enjoyed buying and selling antiques, and made many friends during that time.
Gloria is survived by her daughter, Joanne Maranhao of Chester Springs, PA; two grandchildren, Genevieve and Trevor; and several nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Nativity BVM Church, 306 Franklin Street, Media, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in Gloria's memory to any animal shelter would be greatly appreciated.
May she rest in God's eternal peace.
