Phillip Tito Martelli, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and veteran, passed away peacefully November 19, 2025, at the age of 98.
He was born June 23, 1927, in Philadelphia a son of the late Daniel and Katherine (Margus) Martelli.
He grew up in West Philadelphia and served his country in the Navy for several years.
On June 2, 1950, he married the love of his life, Mary Grace Martelli. They shared a beautiful marriage of 64 years and raised their four children in Holmes where he resided when he passed away.
He retired in 1978 from the Power Generation Service Division at Westinghouse as a Machine Tool Engineer.
A man of deep faith, Phillip was a devoted parishioner and Usher at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Secane. He was also an avid sportsman who enjoyed bowling and golf and was a dedicated fan of Philadelphia sports, particularly the Eagles and Phillies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Grace Martelli, who passed away June 5, 2014 at the age of 85 and his brother, Fred Martelli who passed away in 2024.
He is survived by his loving children, Phillip, Carol, Ellen and James (Theresa); grandchildren, Amanda, Michelle (Matt) and Andrew; his great grandchild, Nico and his siblings, Daniel Martelli and Marie Welsh.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation from 10-11 AM on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Secane, where Mass will be at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Ss Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, with full military honors accorded.
