Gloria Ann Hines, 86, of Park Rapids, MN, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the St. Joseph's CHI Hospital in Park Rapids, MN.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Snellman, MN. Visitation will be held a half hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Osage, MN. Arrangements are with the Cease Family Funeral Home of Park Rapids.
Gloria was born on October 16, 1937, in McIntosh, MN, the daughter of Selmer and Bernice (Hanson) Enerson. She was raised and educated in McIntosh, graduating from McIntosh High School. She moved to the Twin Cities and worked for a bank in downtown Minneapolis. She married Joseph Hines on November 17, 1956, in McIntosh, MN. They made their home in Brooklyn Park and started to raise a family. Gloria was very active in her children's activities, volunteering where she could, including the PTA, and the Girl Scouts. In 1975, the family moved north to Park Rapids, MN. She was an avid life-long gardener, she was a member of the Park Rapids Garden Club, enjoying flowers, and canning vegetables in the Fall. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Park Rapids, and the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Snellman, MN. She enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, sewing, and bird watching; especially the hummingbirds, orioles, and sandhill cranes.

Deb Hines of Wabasha, MN,
Jeffrey Hines of Minneapolis, MN,
Brother, Curt (Michelle) Enerson of Clear Lake, MN,
Sister Lois Potz of Richfield, MN,
Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Travis Rude, brothers Stan Enerson, Clayton Enerson, and brother-in-law Jim Potz.
