Gloria Hyde Obituary
Gloria Esther Hyde (nee Rabey) passed on December 21, 2025, at age 87. She was born on July 21, 1938, in Chicago, IL. She was a graduate of Mt. Sinai Hospital Nursing School in Chicago and became an R.N. in 1959. She was predeceased by her second husband, Jack Hyde, after 34 years of marriage; her parents, George and Clara Rabey; her sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Allan Urlis; and her nephew, John Urlis. She leaves behind her three children with her first husband, Dr. Michael Krassner – Katherine, Kenneth and Keith; her brother and sister-in-law, George and Kathy Rabey; her nephew, Allan Urlis, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Brian and Jessica Wolfman. She was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg. She was also active in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, the Democratic Party, and the Mainlands Unit 4 Women's Club in Pinellas Park. She will be buried at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg.
