Gloria J. Joseph, 75, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
She was born on October 24, 1950, in Celina, Ohio, to Ronald James Joseph and Betty Louise (Coats) Joseph, both of whom preceded her in death.
Gloria retired from Dolco Packaging after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie #2653. Known for her strong opinions and fearless spirit, Gloria was a very feisty lady who didn’t take any guff from anyone—a trait that many considered her best. She was often described as the spitting image of her mother, sharing the same fiery and determined personality.
Surviving are her children, Shaye (Brandy) Hirschy of Decatur, Rick Loshe of Monroeville, Kelly (Eric) Lee of Connecticut, and Amy of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Joseph of Rockford, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Joseph and Terry Joseph.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, with Life Celebrant Dave McIntire officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in rural Rockford, Ohio. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials may be given to PAWS of Adams County.
