Mildred R. “Milly” Sivits, 86, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Cedarhurst Living in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Milly was born on December 25, 1939, in Mechanics Grove, Pennsylvania, to Sylvan Lehman and Selma (Yoder) Lehman, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to Arthur L. “Art” Sivits on December 16, 1966, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They shared 42 years of marriage before his passing on September 19, 2009.

Milly was a faithful member of Grabill Missionary Church in Grabill, Indiana, where she joyfully served for many years. She was actively involved in managing the church welcome center and assisting with funeral dinners, always offering hospitality and kindness to others.

She was employed by Grabill Bank, where she developed strong relationships with many Amish customers by providing thoughtful and dependable assistance with their banking needs.

Milly was deeply devoted to her family and was very involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She cherished attending their activities and spending time together.

Surviving are two daughters, Kristine (Rick) Neff of Noblesville, Indiana, and Holli Sivits (Mark Kaplan) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; six grandchildren, Ryley Sivits, Gavin Ruble, Ayden Ruble, Alexcia Ruble, Natalie (Mark) Banas, and Ashlyn Neff; sister, Elaine Taylor of Leo, Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Liz Lehman of Upland, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Art along with two sisters, Virginia Lehman and Ann (Martin) Graber; brother, Harold Lehman; and a brother-in-law, Robert Taylor.

Following a private family burial in Leo Cemetery, a memorial service for Milly will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Grabill Missionary Church with Pastor Bill Lepley officiating.

Following the memorial service at the church, Milly’s family would invite you to join them for a time of food to honor Milly with stories and fellowship.

Preferred memorials may be made to Cedarhurst Nursing Home and mailed to the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home- 520 N. 2nd. St. Decatur, Indiana.
