Cortney Sivits Obituary

Born August 31, 1989, Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of Todd Sivits and Kristy (McCartney) Butterick.
Cortney was known for her vibrant spirit and unyielding love for life. She dedicated her time to enjoying arts and crafts, camping, and immersing herself in the magical world of Harry Potter. She had a love for heavy metal music. Some of her favorite actors, included Robin Williams, Johnny Depp, and Vincent Price, who brought laughter and adventure into her life. Cortney would tell you to "Be positive and make good choices."
Surviving along with her parents, Todd (Aide) Sivits and Kristy (Christopher) Butterick; fiancé; Matthew Liming; daughters, Rebekuh Renee Michael, Marley Ann and Lylian Elizabeth Owens; step daughter Addison Carrol Ann Liming; brother, Preston Sivits; sisters Chelsea Palmer, Tiffany Keener, and Melissa Titus; paternal grandmother, Virginia Sivits; step siblings, Wesley, Darinka, and Leanne Snow, Ethan and Wyatt Butterick; brothers-in-law TJ Palmer and Brandon Keener; and sisters-in-law, Baranda Sivits and Kristen Gordon.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, Glenn Sivits and grandmother, Patricia Bloomfield.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024, in Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, Indiana.
A celebration of life to be scheduled for a later date.
