John Eric Wolf

John Eric Wolf - known fondly as "Eric", age 58, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025. He was a loving father, son, and community member.
Born on April 18, 1967, Eric was a 1985 graduate of McCutcheon High School. His passion for sports began early, as he went on to coach the A & B teams at Wea School in the summer of 1986.
For 22 years, Eric served as a dedicated custodian at West Lafayette High School.
An avid sports fan, Eric loved any and all games - but his deepest loyalties lay with the Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Reds. He was also a lifelong devotee of Elvis Presley.
He is survived by a beloved son, Justin Eric Wolf; his mother, Patty Wolf; and many nieces, nephews, and aunts. He also leaves behind his second family at Riehle Brothers, where he was a beloved fixture and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Albert Wolf; his brother, Richard Jason Wolf; and his sister, Lisa Kay Kimbrill.
Eric will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his unwavering loyalty to his teams, and the quiet, steady love he had for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Eric's Life will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Riehle's Neighborhood Bar & Grill (1301 Union St., Lafayette).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity in loving memory of Eric.
