Martha Elvira Salazar Jiménez, de 64 años, residente de Alto Lucero de Gutiérrez Barrios, Veracruz, falleció en Lafayette, Indiana.
Nació el 2 de julio de 1961 en Vega de Alatorre, Veracruz, hija de los fallecidos Erasmo Salazar Serrano y Soledad Jiménez Viveros.
Estuvo casada con Francisco Damián durante 47 años, quien falleció en 2024.
Martha era ama de casa y asistía a la Iglesia Católica de San Bonifacio en Indiana, donde iba a misa todos los fines de semana y participaba frecuentemente como voluntaria.
Disfrutaba ir a misa, ver la televisión, cocinar auténtica comida mexicana, llevar a sus nietos al parque y dar paseos matutinos por el vecindario.
Le sobreviven sus hijos, José de Jesús Damián Salazar (Fabiola Geffroy) de Santa Ana, Veracruz, Martha Karem Damián Salazar (Luin Fermín Hernández Reyes) de Santa Ana, Veracruz, y Francisco M. Damián Salazar de Lafayette, Indiana; sus hermanos, Modesta López Jiménez y Héctor Salazar Jiménez; y sus nietos, Ángel Damián Martínez, Naomi Damián García, Santiago Damián García, Kaled Hernández Damián, Itzaee Hernández Damián, Niza Michelle Damián Geffroy y Marcella Damián Geffroy.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus hermanos Demetrio Flavio Salazar Jiménez, Elizabeth Martínez Jiménez y Anaberta López Jiménez.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 28 de noviembre de 2025 en la Funeraria Fisher de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. También habrá velorio el sábado 29 de noviembre de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de San Bonifacio de 10:30 a. m. a 11:30 a. m. La misa de cuerpo presente se celebrará el sábado 29 de noviembre de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de San Bonifacio a las 11:30 a. m. El sepelio tendrá lugar en Veracruz, México.

Martha Elvira Salazar Jimenez, 64, of Alto Lucero de Gutierrez Barrios, Veracruz passed away on in Lafayette, Indiana.
She was born on July 2, 1961 in Vega de Alatorre, Veracruz to the late Erasmo Salazar Serrano and Soledad Jimenez Viveros.
She was married to Francisco Damian for 47 years before he preceded her in death in 2024.
Martha was a homemaker and attended St. Boniface Catholic Church in Indiana where she went to church every weekend and volunteered often.
She enjoyed going to Mass, watching tv, cooking authentic Mexican food, taking her grandkids to the park, and morning walks in the neighborhood.
Surviving are her children, Jose de Jesus Damian Salazar (Fabiola Geffroy) of Santa Ana, Veracruz, Martha Karem Damian Salazar (Luin Fermin Hernandez Reyes) of Santa Ana, Veracruz, and Francisco M. Damian Salazar of Lafayette, Indiana; her siblings, Modesta Lopez Jimenez and Hector Salazar Jimenez; and her grandchildren, Angel Damian Martinez, Naomi Damian Garcia, Santiago Damian Garcia, Kaled Hernandez Damian, Itzaee Hernandez Damian, Niza Michelle Damian Geffroy, and Marcella Damian Geffroy.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Demetrio Flavio Salazar Jimenez, Elizabeth Martinez Jimenez, and Anaberta Lopez Jimenez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Fisher Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at St. Boniface Catholic Church from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at St. Boniface Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Veracruz, Mexico.
